Neighborhood Leaders Training and Ice Cream

Tuesday, July 11 @ 6:30PM
Oregon Education Association, 2495 S Pacific Hwy, Medford

The Jackson County Democrats have partnered with local Dems across the state to implement the Neighborhood Leaders Program, a new grassroots effort designed to identify, engage, and mobilize progressive voters across Jackson County. We’ll kick off this effort on June 11 at 6:30PM (with ice cream!) at the Oregon Education Association located at 2495 S Pacific Hwy. in Medford. Help connect with neighbors and other people in the community who care about environmental protection, human rights, quality healthcare, working families, education, and equality for all. Join us on July 11th and help make sure our laws and candidates reflect these values and find out who in your neighborhood is a Democrats. To sign up or for more information, call Allen Hallmark at 541-897-0135 or email

May Election Results

The unofficial election results from May have been posted. Congratulations to Cathy Shaw, Maud Powell, Jeffrey Kinsella, Jim Horner, Sarah McGlaughlin, Thomas Fink, Autumn Chadborne, George Prokop, and Dan Davis. We are glad that these forward-thinking people have been elected to School Boards, Rogue Valley Transportation District, Library District, and SOESD.

Some talented and progressive candidates unfortunately were not elected, but we wish them better luck next time. Thank you to everyone who ran for office, helped campaigns, got out the vote, and have dedicated themselves to making our community a better place.
