Those of us lucky enough to attend the Jackson County Democrats' fundraiser at Paschal Winery got "wowed" by our Oregon Attorney General John Kroger. The fastest rising star in Oregon's political firmament showed us why he's a favorite to be a candidate for higher office some day. Kroger explained how he has shaken up the Oregon Department of Justice to work for the people by suing big corporations who have been ripping off consumers and the state of Oregon and how he's forged relationships with other AG's such as the Republican AG in Washington state to file lawsuits to make developments, such as Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) promoters abide by state laws.
