Jackson County Democrats

Over 100 people, representing the Occupy Groups and others, gathered at Vogel Plaza and marched to the Courthouse to call for an amendment to the Constitution to end corporate personhood. The movement is gaining steam. City by city, across the nation, resolutions are being passed to overturn the Supreme Court decision, Citizens United vs The Federal Election Commission. Speakers included Robert Dole (Medford), Elbert Collins (Grants Pass), Evan, Keith and Andrew Seles (Ashland) and Rich Rhode of Oregon Action. The rain didn't dampen the spirits and kept up lively chants," Hay Hay, Ho Ho, Corporate Greed has got to go!"
