COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE: The Committee oversees the internal and external communications of the JCDCC.
Internal communications include publication of the newsletter, announcements to the email list server, the content of the website and all other publications for party operations and development.
External communications involves press releases, cultivation and maintenance of media contacts, letters to the editor, and advertising of events. The designated Public Relations person is a member of this committee but is responsible to the JCDCC Chair as Press Secretary.
Meeting: We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month from 6-8pm at the JCDP HQ office at 40 S Central, Medford (right across the street from the Craterian Theater). Come see what we're about! Email your interest or questions about our meeting.
Goals: Create opportunities for proactive interaction between the JCDP and the local and greater community, especially as to how we can serve individual rights and the greater good as defined in our JCDP Platform. This is intentionally an open ended goal as the needs of the community change. We need to be problem solvers as to how best serve those needs through effective communication.
