Results of JCD participation in the national 'Honor A Hospitalized Veteran Week
Here's an account of what happened for the Valentines For Veterans event:
Recently, the JCD participated in the national 'Honor A Hospitalized Veteran Week'. We collected and delivered five dozen Valentines, homemade cookies and treat bags to the White City SORCC facility. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to show their appreciation for our Veterans! A special thanks to the residents of the Mountain View Senior Living Community who donated handmade Valentines for our Vets! Thanks to Leslie Stone and Bev at Mountain View for their help! Also, thanks to Gary and Sandy Moore for collecting and delivering Valentines from Ashland residents.
