April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and an important time to recognize the critical role that communities play in protecting our children. In the past year 760 children were confirmed victims of child abuse and neglect, to put that in perspective that represents 2 children a day in Jackson County. Join us on Thursday, April 30th, at Vogel Plaza in Medford at noon to stand for those children and to find out how you can play a part to help create a safe community for our children. Please feel free to forward this information.
There are 360 kids in foster care at any one time but 760 in Jackson County are served during the year. This effort is to call attention to this horrifying statistics concerning the children in our community.
