Also, some of us will be participating in the Rogue Valley Veterans for Peace entry in the Boatnik Parade that morning in Grants Pass, but we should be able to do both events.
Above is a photo that I took on the National Mall in Washington, DC, in May 2006 when the Eyes Wide Open (boots of dead troops & shoes of dead Iraqis) display was there. It shows the boots and other memorabilia of Casey Sheehan, son of Cindy Sheehan. I didn't get an opportunity to meet Cindy that day and tell her how sorry I am for the loss of her son and for the hundreds of thousands of other lives squandered in the war on Iraq, but I hope to get a chance to speak with her on Thursday in Ashland. -- Allen Hallmark
