Thank you for joining the 86,732 people who have signed our citizen open letter to President Obama!

On Friday, May 22, during the "March for Darfur," we delivered your signature to an administration official in front of the White House.

Darfuris and Sudanese travelled from across America to call for bold action for peace by marching in front of the White House at the "March for Darfur" event.

Visitors to the White House stopped to listen to the Sudanese tell their stories. Hundreds were moved to sign the letter and add their voice to the call for a clear path to peace.

It was an inspiring sight—and I was proud that we were able to echo the Darfuris' call for justice by delivering your signatures.

We face many challenges in bringing peace to Darfur, but we know we're making our voices heard. It's the work of supporters like you that brings attention—from the media and from the White House—to the situation in Darfur.

Thank you again for signing the citizen open letter. It is your relentless advocacy that sustains our movement.
