Thanks to all of you, Mothers Voices happened!

Nancie Koerber stepped in to moderate at the last minute and did an awesome job…the sock puppets for Health Care Reform were inspiring!

The entire Southern Oregon HCAN coalition developed the event and Caren Caldwell designed one of the prettiest flyers in a long time.

Our mothers voices: Paulie Brading, Deb Bales, Rosa and Anna from UNETE, Kayla Starr, Cindy McMurphy, Robin Brown, Laure Collins, Virginia Camberos and Denise Cyr moved everyone and drew all three TV stations to cover us live”.

Alberto Enriquez came to us live from DC where 10,000 people said "Health Care Can't Wait!"

Newcomers to our coalition, the Rogue Valley Citizens’Council, brought us the more than 12,000 signatures of Oregonians who signed the Stand with Dr. Dean petitions in support of the public health insurance option. These will augment to 77 powerful and personal letters to Senator Wyden calling for a public health insurance option.

We had sound donated by Gabe Hoover, water and lemonade from Harlan Ward and Grilla Bites, the beautiful music of Clayton DeChrio and Michelle Bellamy, video by Mark Thomas and photos by Amanda Cyr, Allen Hallmark (attached), Matt Witt and Helga Motley.

A crew of volunteers including Wes Brown, Ronald Sanderfer, Wayne Luckenbill, Amanda Cyr, Keith Shirley, Bruce Bauer, Buck Eichler and Keb Bales made the event run smoothly and stepped in with only seconds notice!!
