Volunteers Needed!
As the campaign heats up, we need your help!
Anyone pining for a little Campaign 2008 fervor can head on down to Democratic Headquarters where things are really beginning to pop. The number of walk-ins has increased dramatically, as have the phone calls.
Which brings us to you. It is time to bolster our numbers of office volunteer staff to deal with the increased public attention and to be ready for the busy campaign cycle that is already upon us. We are looking for people who are interested in meeting and greeting all the folks who are contacting us. Computer skills and prior office experience are a plus. If you enjoy talking with people, discussing politics, and are "reasonably" informed about what is going on, (we will give you the training and resources you need), please call the office [858-1050] and ask for Christine or Michael. Busy or not, they’ll return your call promptly. You can also join the Jackson County Democrats and become a Neighborhood Leader. You’ll get to talk regularly with friends and neighbors about Democrats running for office, candidate visits and upcoming special events.
We’ll give you a contact list of Democrats right in your own backyard and talking points to help with your calls.
