November 2025 Election
Ballots are due: Nov 4, 2025 8:00 PM PST
Voters in the city of Medford and within the Rogue River Rural Fire Protection District 1 should have received ballots for this current election. There are no other elections in other areas of Jackson County for the Tuesday, November 4, 2025 Special Election.
Every Election Matters!
If you’re a registered voter in Medford or Rogue River Rural Fire Protection District 1, be sure to fill out your ballot, sign the back of the envelope and return your ballot by November 4th. If you’re returning your ballot by mail, be sure it will be postmarked by November 4th. If you’re using a drop box, make sure your ballot is in the drop box before 8:00 p.m. on November 4th.
If you did not receive a ballot and believe you are eligible to vote in this election or have other problems with your ballot, please contact the Jackson County Elections office for help and information at 541-774-6148 or visit their office at 1101 W. Main Street, Suite 201 in Medford. The elections office is open from 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and up until 8:00 p.m. on Election day, Tuesday, November 4th.
What’s on your ballot?
MEDFORD VOTERS:
If you live within Medford city limits, you’ll be voting on Measure 15-238.
This measure will increase the transient lodging tax from 11 percent to 13 percent. The transient lodging tax is an added tax that visitors pay when they stay less than 27 days in hotels, inns, motels, short term vacation rental properties like AirBnBs and similar accommodations and does not apply to hospitals, nursing homes or public institutions.
The Jackson County Democrats have not taken a position on this measure.
Official ballot drop boxes are now open in Medford. You can drop off your ballot in the official drop box behind the Medford Library (201 S. Central Avenue) in the parking lot off Riverside Avenue or drop off our ballot in front of the Jackson County Elections office at 1101 West Main Street. Both of these drop boxes are open 24 hours a day, but remember your deadline to get your ballot into an official drop box is 8:00 p.m. on November 4th.
ROGUE RIVER VOTERS:
If you live within Rogue River Rural Fire Protection District 1, you’ll be voting on Measure 15-239 which is a five year local option tax for general fire safety operations. The district provides fire safety and advanced life support ambulance transportation within the district and the ambulance service area. The measure approves a new levy of $.80 per $1,000 of assessed value starting July 1, 20026. The current levy of $.50 per $1,000 of assessed value is set to expire in June 30,2026. The Jackson County Democrats have not taken a position on this measure.
The official ballot drop box is now open in Rogue River at the Rogue RIver library branch located at 412 East Main Street. This is a walk up drop box located adjacent to the library’s branch’s main entrance. You can also drop off your ballot in the official drop box behind the Medford Library off Riverside Avenue (the Medford Library is located at 201 S. Central Avenue) or the official drop box located outside the Jackson County Elections office at 1101 W. Main Street in Medford. Official drop boxes are open 24 hours a day, but be sure to get your ballot into a drop box before 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4th.

You should have received a copy of the voter’s pamphlet in your mail. The voter’s pamphlet includes an explanation of the ballot measures and arguments for and against the ballot measures.
