What will Jackson County Voters be voting on in the May election?
NOMINEES FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
The Democratic Party of Oregon choses their nominees for the General Midterm Election this fall through the Primary Election in May. Oregon has closed primaries, so you must be a registered Democrat to vote in the Primary Election for these candidates. You can register or update your voter's registration to affiliate with the Democratic party online through the Oregon Secretary of State at oregonvotes.org. You can also register or update your voter's registration by filling out a Oregon Voter's Registration card and returning it to the Jackson County Elections office at 1101 W. Main, Medford, OR 97501 (by mail or in person.) Voter registration cards can be found at your local post offices and at the Jackson County Elections office.
The deadline to register to vote or change party affiliation for the May Primary is April 28. Registration cards postmarked by this date or submitted online no later than 11:59 pm are valid.

Would you like to serve as a PCP for your local Democratic party?
The deadline to file for election as a PCP in the May 2026 Primary election has passed. However, there is still space on your PCP ballot for you to write in your name as a candidate. To be elected, you must receive at least three votes from registered Democrats within your precinct (your own vote plus two others).
To Run as a Write-In PCP Candidate
