Community Food Drive
At the heart of Democratic values in the Rogue Valley is a commitment to caring for our neighbors. True community strength comes from standing together, having each other’s backs, and supporting the grassroots organizations that make our region a welcoming home for everyone.
We are proud to support Coalición Fortaleza, "a culturally empowered women of color-led community-based organization... re-imagining new solutions for our people, Madre Tierra and our future generations."
Coalición Fortaleza beautifully reminds us:
"Food is so much more than a meal—it carries memories, celebrates identity, and brings people together. When families can find familiar ingredients and cherished foods in our pantry, they experience more than a meal; they feel welcomed, valued, and respected... By helping us stock our pantry with familiar and culturally meaningful foods, you are helping create a welcoming space where families feel seen, respected, and cared for."
We are calling on our Democratic community to help stock Coalición Fortaleza’s food pantry with culturally relevant pantry staples and household essentials. Please refer to the item list below when shopping for your donation.
