Register to Vote:

Oregon makes it easy to register or update your voter's registration online. You will need an Oregon Driver's License/ID or passport. You can also print out the online form and mail the form in. Most post office branches also have Oregon Voter's Registration forms available. The deadline to register is 21 days before any election.

Missing Ballot?

Ballots are mailed approximately two weeks before an election. If you do not receive yours, call the Jackson County Elections Office immediately to request a replacement.

Voters' Pamphlet:

A copy of the voters' pamphlet is mailed to every household. If you need a replacement or translation, check the Oregon Secretary of State's website.

Don't assume you're registered! Receiving a voter's pamphlet at your address does not guarantee you are registered to vote. Before every election, verify that your registration and mailing address are current. It only takes a minute at oregonvotes.gov.

Returning Your Ballot:

You can return your ballot by mail (no stamp required or drop it in an official drop box.

For the most reliable return, we encourage voters to use an Official Ballot Drop Box. Ballots must be deposited in a drop box by 8:00 PM on Election Day.

The Jackson County Clerk recommends that if you return your ballot by mail, you mail it at least one week before Election Day to ensure it is received and postmarked in time.
